Mira’s Diary by Marissa Moss

IMG_0186 When a friend loaned me this book, I wasn’t very expectant of anything unique, besides the eye-catching cover. As it turns out, I was completely wrong…Tween Mira, a quietly confident girl whose passion is journaling and sketching, discovers her ability to travel in time. Utterly surprised, she uses it to find her missing mother, along with a few other clues. Explore the diverse history of Paris in the 1800’s and travel with Mira as she deals with young love, mistakes, and family. I recommend this novel to all girls above the age of 10. It is touching and mysterious, well-played with historical facts.
