Mystery. Humor. Grief. Friendship. This book has it all, and yet it is still completely appropriate for 5th graders and up. Jeremy Fink and the Meaning Life is told from the point of view of a tween boy named Jeremy. He and his best friend, Lizzy, go on a wild adventure in the lively wonders of New York, the Atlantic City Boardwalk, and one luxurious limo, all to unlock one mysterious box with four individual keyholes. The deadline is Jeremy’s 13th birthday, and the two best friends are determined to meet it. This book is amazing, and I praise Wendy Mass for her talent and never-ending excitement she provides for the reader.
