Long time no see, BookBirdz followers! The next guest book review I am excited to share with ya’ll is written by Chase C., age 14. He is recommending the second book of the Harry Potter series, for the reasons below…

Harry_Potter_and_the_Chamber_of_Secrets_(US_cover)In Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets, author J.K. Rowling has once again impressed many with her telling on the adventures of Harry Potter, Hermione Granger, and Ron Weasley. It is now the crew’s second year at the Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, and they are now faced with a darker, more challenging task than ever before. Students all around school are becoming petrified, or frozen, and it is now up to the three to find out what is causing the chaos and how to stop it. Some suspect that Harry’s nemesis, Draco Malfoy, could be behind these attacks. Can you figure out who is causing this mayhem to the innocent students of Hogwarts? Can you help Harry, Ron, and Hermione get to the bottom of what really happened with the Chamber of Secrets? You must read the second book in this wonderful series and find out! I would definitely recommend this book, especially to those with big imaginations and skillful readers since it is 352 pages long.
