This guest book review is written by Caden D., age 14, who shares his personal opinion on a tragic-sounding story.
Lone Survivor is a book written by Marcus Luttrell, the first hand victim of Operation Red Wings. Seal Team 10 was sent out on Operation Red Wings to kill or capture a Taliban leader. The mission didn’t go as planned, and left an extremely deadly firefight between Seal Team 10 and the Taliban. Marcus Luttrell was the only survivor of the team, left wounded in the mountains with an army of armed Taliban searching for him. Will Marcus survive a harsh climate with one of the deadliest organisations after him all alone? Read and find out. This book has 390 pages and I would recommend it to those interested in military operations and highly mature content. This personally is my favorite book I have ever read with highly detailed description of what happened during Operation Red Wings.
my uncle is in the seals and he said its hard feel like if I shot people then that would be very hard for me and I don’t think i could do it.
I’m not really interested in things about the army/military, but this sounds like an interesting book and I think I would take the time to read this book.
