What’s up BookBirdz followers? Marshall A., age 14, knows the answer. It’s Let’s Explore Diabetes with Owls, the book he is reviewing today. Enjoy!
Let’s Explore Diabetes with Owls is a book with 20 fun-filled essays written by David Sedaris, who is a skilled storyteller and savvy essayist. This isn’t the first “funny spin on life” essay he’s done either, he has others including, ‘Squirrel Seeks Chipmunk’, ‘Me Talk Pretty One Day’, and ‘Barrel Fever’. He talks about everything from his “happy place” to traditional marriage. This gives you a brief, self-possessed look at life’s hardships and worry’s. Sedaris will put his family problems to girlfriend problems all in one fulfilling fun package. This brings sanity to our world that has gone rather mad. I would pick this book up if you’re looking for a comical spin on life’s shenanigans.
