Eleven-year-old Olive Dunwoody has incredibly smart, articulate mathematicians as parents. Olive, however, has not appeared to have inherited those genes, as she enjoys drawing and downing her favorite cereal, Sugar-Puffy Kitten Bits. Curiously enough, Olive seems to notice something odd about their new (but extremely old) house that the Dunwoody’s just purchased. Perhaps it’s the mysterious paintings that cannot be removed from the wall, or the three giant cats that guard the secrets of the house, or so they say. Olive is determined to find out what exactly her new house is hiding… no matter what it takes.
