Heaven is For Real by Todd Burpo

heaven-2-articleInlineHello, BookBirdz followers! I present to you another excellent guest book review, written by Christina Hamilton, age 12. She expertly guides you through this inspirational true story- and I thank her for contributing to BookBirdz…What is your favorite book? A romance novel, an adventure, non fiction? Mine falls under the category of religion. This topic can be thought of as controversial, but you don’t need to have a certain religion to fall in love with this book. Heaven Is For Real by Todd Burpo with Lynn Vincent. This explains the struggles of a young child, and the battles the Burpo family had to fight. They fought with love and hope, and down the road they learned lessons to take with them forever. Heaven Is For Real is currently one of my favorite because of the refreshing way the story is given to the reader. The sentence structure doesn’t allow boredom to even begin setting in. It’s one of those books where you can’t put it down because the story is so interesting, but you don’t want to put it down either because of the gripping words each page leaves you with. If you’re currently dealing with something, this book gives you a nicer perspective on the world around you. It reminds you that sometimes all one really needs is to take a step back.
